Our little rented flat looks out on Haslar Marina and we have met new friends who have been working on their boat there. Liam and Liz are a delightful Irish/Welsh-Chinese combo who have spent the last year preparing for their trip to Australia. It’s been great hanging around a marina again pretending we have a boat!  We’ve had a few evenings with them and they have kindly put up with us boring them with our stories, sometimes repeated, without complaint.  We waved them off this week (a little damp-eyed) and the next time we meet them will be on their arrival in Australia- unless I can persuade Andy to meet them in Fiji!!

Watch out for them on Odyssey and give them a hoy.
